August 4 - Catherine Freeman

What colour Olympic ring you would be? This week Rhoda asks this questions of our very own golden girl Catherine Freeman, who drops by to talk about the upcoming Olympic Games. Catherine offers her thoughts on the incredible Indigenous talent heading to Beijing this month.

August 11 - Vernon Ah Kee

One of Indigenous Australia’s most thought-provoking artists stops by to have a cuppa and a yarn with Rhoda about his latest exhibition in the 2008 Biennale of Sydney – Australia’s festival of contemporary art which celebrated its 16th birthday this year with the theme of “Revolution – forms that turn”.

August 18 - Leah Purcell

Fresh from winning Best Actress in a Play at the 2008 Helpmann Awards, the ever-lovely Leah Purcell drops by to talk about her award as well as her trip to New York for the Tribeca Film Festival. Leah also gives us a sneak peak of what she’s up to next and shares her thoughts on impending grandmother-hood!

August 25 - Karnage

Hip hop artist and producer Karnage takes to the Deadly Sounds mic to rap with Rhoda about his music, his work with Indigenous kids form Alice Springs and his upcoming album, Circus of Life. You’ll also get the chance to hear some of his tracks, only on Deadly Sounds.
